CSLA + adidas

When farmers and a global fashion brand partner, the result is magic.

In 2022, Crop Swap LA™'s founder, Jamiah Hargins, was honored by adidas as part of their Honoring Black Excellence initiative and was named a Community Architect for the adidas + Black Ambition program. Over two years, SMLA Media collaborated with Jamiah to establish and reinforce the branding of Crop Swap LA™ through a clothing capsule collection and various publicity materials produced by adidas.


Being a small fish in a large pond can be very intimidating. Adidas is undoubtedly an expert in fashion design, and even though Crop Swap LA™ had no experience in the sector, it was still imperative that its branding was on point. SMLA Media ensured that the Crop Swap LA™ branding and message did not get lost during the long creative and production process with adidas.


The idea of an urban farming initiative and a global powerhouse partnering to create a clothing capsule collection seems far-fetched, but the result was incredibly special.
